Interior design to a bedroom which originally had plenty of room, so the client wanted to reduce open spaces in order to put a walk-in closet despite losing those “idle” square meters.
So, starting by the closet, this design gets to create a niche above bed head, which, from the inner parts didn’t cause any loss as there were designed shelves.
The closet is designed with a pivot opening door gaped by 15 cm from the floor and from the top, in order to provide a minimum of ventilation even with the door closed.
For the external design, a series of negatives were built in order to soften the impact of the new walls. For the rest of the walls, one is coated with colorful abstract wallpaper and the others in a bright light gray. Curtains were in voile plain white.
The solution for a TV, which wouldn’t disturb the harmony, is a raising mechanism proposed by Hafele, embraced by a bench-chest in padded ecological leather.
